Did Not Start.
That’s the long and short of it. I rolled my ankle a couple of days before the race and decided not to make the trip and not to run. The sprain was not bad but I didn’t think it needed a marathon on it, either.
I’ve taken the week off and I’m actually glad I didn’t make the trip.
So, with some time off and a chance to think about the next 5 months of training, I think I may be ready to reboot and get going.
But… it’s my first DNS. And I don’t like it.
