The Workouts 10/31 – 11/6

10/31 – 5 mile run on gravel and paved roads.  50 degrees, wind minimal.  Felt very good for entire run.

11/01 – 3 mile walk on gravel and paved roads. 50 degrees, wind 10 mph.  Basically NSOMAT for work…

11/02 – rest

11/03 – 5 mile run on gravel and paved roads. 47 degrees, wind minimal.  Slightly over hydrated.

11/04 – 4 mile run on gravel and paved roads. 45 degrees, wind minimal.  Comfortable run late afternoon/early evening.  Too close to race time??

11/05 – Heart Center of the Rockies Half Marathon – Loveland, CO  30 – 44 degrees, wind < 8 mph.  Some snow/ice footing issues.  Good race – gave it more effort than intended, did not practice walking uphills or snacking.  Too much effort?  Soreness ahead?  More tired than expected later in the day – still not in good condition.  Not PR but right on target time.

11/06 – 4 mile walk on gravel and paved roads.  47 degrees, wind <8 mph.  30 min. yoga.  Slight soreness in quads.  Yoga felt GREAT!
