The Workouts 11/28 – 12/04

11/28 – rest

11/29 – 8 mile run on gravel and paved roads. 47 degrees, wind 5 mph.  A little over hydrated at first – walked it out.  Did sprint repeats between miles 4 – 7.  Legs feel pretty good.

11/30 – no running

12/01 – no running

12/02 – 5 miles on treadmill

12/03 – 2 hours on treadmill

12/04 – 3 hours on treadmill

So…  The weather this week put a real twist in my training.  Well, it is just about winter now and I do live in Colorado so I’m going to be running in crappy weather for a while.  I don’t like it but it’s what I’ve got to work with.  I do have the treadmill and I might just have to get over the boredom factor of running in place.  I still eagerly look forward to better winter days for outdoor running and I’m just going to have to tame the treadmill!
